8 p.m. update – THUNDER-ICE is moving through East Texas, and will expand into southern Arkansas, northern Louisiana and western/northwest Mississippi. Another zone of thunder-ice will impact Georgia and the Carolinas on Sunday. Ice accretions will ramp up markedly overnight.
